Secrets From the Eating Lab: The Science of Weight Loss …

This book does an excellent job of reviewing weight science and providing reassurance that dieting is a terrible idea for every reason. In fact, there is no reason to ever pursue intentional weight loss.

The book does, however, have some problematic assertions about staying at the "low end of your set point." If you are eating intuitively and following a non-diet approach, you do not need to worry about or manipulate your weight in any way (or even know your weight). Weight control is dangerously close to intentional weight loss and has similar side effects, so we want to make sure you are aware of this problematic aspect of the book.
