I use a trauma-informed and compassionate approach and draw from Somatic Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, as well as Feminist Therapy. I am strongly invested in the Health at Every Size model and work to dismantle systemic fatphobia and weight stigma throughout my personal and professional life. I can support parents who have kids with eating/body issues by helping them to examine ways that diet culture has impacted their own lives and ideas about bodies and food. I can hold space for any challenges and uncomfortable emotions that might arise while trying to break cycles of disordered eating and thinking, as well as help gather relevant resources and tools to build a foundation of care and healing.
