Hi, I'm Kate. I'm a dual-licensed clinician with over 20 years of experience helping clients heal their relationship with food, body, and self. I'm a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and a certified trainer, educator, and practitioner of psychodrama (TEP). My clinical background spans hospital settings, higher levels of care, and outpatient therapy, and I bring a trauma-informed, social justice-oriented lens to every client relationship, including the families walking alongside them.
My approach affirms body diversity, neurodivergence, and marginalized identities. I am committed to Health At Every Sizeยฎ (HAESยฎ), anti-oppressive care, and genuinely inclusive support for every client I work with. I draw from a range of therapeutic modalities, including Intuitive Eating, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, DBT, CBT, EMDR, and psychodrama, tailoring my approach to what each client and family actually needs.
I understand that recovery from disordered eating, trauma, and chronic self-doubt takes time, trust, and skilled support, and I don't expect anyone to navigate it alone. I collaborate closely with each client, and often with their support system, to define goals, build self-awareness, and cultivate sustainable practices for long-term healing and growth.
