I utilize a strengths-based, eating disorder and Health at Every Size informed approach to therapy and parent coaching. I am certified to lead the Confident Body Confident Child program, which is evidence-based to help parents guide their child in developing a healthy relationship with food without negatively affecting their child's body image. I am also a certified trainer and leader of The Body Project, which helps teenage girls challenge the "appearance ideal" by developing cognitive dissonance between societal ideals of beauty and the girl's own values. I use these trainings and my experience working in the eating disorder field to help support parents who are trying to raise their children to be body confident and have a healthy, flexible relationship to food.
