The PEAAC is a holistic, HAES-aligned sports medicine and eating disorder clinic that believes in keeping each patient\'s human-ness at the forefront: We are all people first and deserve to be treated as such. We believe in fostering reconnections between the mind, body, and soul and working to understand the root of life dissatisfaction for which the eating disorder has thus far been the necessary coping mechanism.
I am a recovered anorexic who does not make a distinction between \"atypical\" anorexia and anorexia. All weights at my clinic are truly blind, as we use the numberless MyClearStep scale, where the number only discoverable on my secure provider portal; I also do not enter the weight into the medical record unless required for electronic prescribing.
I see patients in person in Utah, but am also licensed in many other US states, including AZ, CO, ID, IL, IN, MA, MI, MN, MT, NV, OH, OK, TX, WI, WY. Licenses are planned/pending in CA, FL, NC, NJ, OR, SC as of Sept 2023.
