We understand that eating disorders are not “black and white”, and every child is different. We also know that early intervention in eating and body image concerns results in better outcomes. The evidence-based methods we use are rooted in science to help children and adolescents improve and overcome their own unique mental health struggles.
We begin each relationship with an initial consultation, in which we take the time to get to know your child’s particular struggles and concerns with eating and body image, mood, anxiety and fears, and any concerns related to experiencing trauma.

If you are struggling in your relationship with your body you are certainly not alone. Eating disorders, trauma, and anxiety often go hand and hand and can be worsened by providers who focus on weight instead of emotional and physical wellness. I offer a weight neutral approach to healing your relationship with food and your body. I see you as a whole person and will help you see how the experiences and influences in your life have negatively impacted how you see yourself. I am licensed in Ohio and therefore can only work with you if you reside in Ohio.

I work with women who struggle with disordered eating and body image. I subscribe to HAES and strongly support intuitive eating as part of a framework for developing a healthy relationship with food and body. This work involves self-compassion, developing an internal awareness of behaviors, thoughts and emotions, through mindfulness, and unlearning food rules (among other things). I want to help you develop an overall sense of self awareness and strength to believe in yourself and assert your needs.
